Southern Excursions, LLC is my favorite sightseeing company while visiting Myrtle Beach. Take a break from the shopping, golfing or whatever and enjoy wineries, plantations, historic towns and of course a trip to "charming" Charleston, SC.
Wineries of the South is a great way to explore the region and the tasty wines of the area. Silvercoast Winery will have you tasting a variety of reds & whites that will tease your pallet as you decide which best fits your taste buds. Then off to the old fishing town of Calabash for lunch. Okay, now we are off again to LaBelleAmi Vineyards to sample 1 or all of the 6 wines of the region.
Spend a delightful day at the Rice Plantation (birthplace of Thomas Lynch, Jr., signer of the Declaration of Independence) and partake in a true Southern Tea. A tour of the Hopswee Plantation will show you the home and original slave quarters constructed in 1739. The making of Sweet grass baskets is usually demonstrated on the property.
Georgetown, SC is one of the top 100 small towns in the country & is located between Myrtle Beach, SC & Charleston, SC. Experience the Swamp Fox Tram tour of Old Georgetown & visit Kaminski House and the Robert Stewart House. Stroll down the river walk along the Harbor and visit quaint shops of the old town markets. Restaurants offering seafood to grilled specials are waiting to tempt your appetites.
The Charleston trip is nothing but "Fantastic" - Maryann will fill you in on the details of this trip.
