RIVER MEMORIES & THE CAPTAIN
Picture this in your mind - large cypress trees, draping Spanish moss and you onboard the riverboat known as RIVER MEMORIES. Captain Jim will narrate a 75 minute trip down the Waccamaw River and will provide you with information on history and nature. As a passenger you will depart the Conway Marina, located at 4 Elm Street in Conway, with your choice of departure times - 10:00 am, 1:00 pm & 4:00 pm Monday through Saturday. If history is what interests you then this is the adventure for you. You will be fascinated by the stories of the American Indians, steamboats, river men, local wildlife and all the history that the Waccamaw River has stored in its deep river memories. The cost is

ART IN THE PARK
What do jewelry, ceramics, mosaics, paintings, pottery, shell art, metal yard art and photography have in common? It is the 38th Annual ART IN THE PARK taking place this weekend at Chapin Park located at 1400 N. Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach. There will be over 50 artists displaying their creations beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 19 and Sunday, June 20. If art is a passion, hobby or something that you just enjoy looking at, this Art In The Park experience will make you keep coming back each time this event takes place. Future dates for ART IN THE PARK are: October 9-10; November 6-7 at Chapin Park and November 13-14 at Valor Park located at The Market Common.
THE MARKET COMMON
Hey KIDS - have Mom and/or Dad take you to the beautiful Market Common area every Monday beginning June 21 and running through August 9. The fun will begin at 5:30 and end at 8:30 - sooooo lets find out what you are going to have fun doing. It will be a night of INFLATABLE fun - $10.00 wristbands will entitle you to all you can jump inflatables, face painting, DJ Batman and one free kids meal with an adult purchase at participating restaurants.

TUESDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS - free concerts in Plyler Park - June 22 - The Lazy River Band playing rock/blues; June 26 - John Wesley Satterfield playing American/bluegrass music and June 29 - Mystic Vibrations playing reggae. 8pm - midnight
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS - fireworks over the ocean - 9:30 pm
THURSDAY NIGHTS - You will be entertained on the new boardwalk by strolling bagpipes - 8:00 pm
FRIDAY NIGHTS - Strolling music by the Dixieland Band begins at 8:00 pm
SUNDAY NIGHTS - From 9th Avenue North to Mr. Joe White Avenue you will be entertained on the boardwalk area by street performers. 7-10pm
