LEGENDS IN CONCERT has opened in their new location and what a location it is. For those of you who do not know, LEGENDS IN CONCERT has a new location and is no longer located in Surfside Beach. Myrtle Beach was fortunate to have this wonderful theatre relocate to 2925 Hollywood Drive at U.S. 17 Bypass and 29th Avenue beside PLANET HOLLYWOOD. A $2 million dollar renovation was made to the old Club Kryptonite and features a three-quarter in the round stage and will seat 600 people. Not one seat is any further than 50 feet from the main stage -up close and personal.
As a Concierge on this beach for 13 years, I know that visitors will not only appreciate the new location, but they will be entertained by the performers that they have seen in previous times along with the new tribute artists. The opening lineup of tribute artists include: The Blues Brothers (always a favorite), Michael Jackson, Dolly Parton, Little Richard, Jay Leno and ELVIS. Victor Trevino, Jr. is making his debut as ELVIS and he has been named one of the top five ELVIS tribute artists in the country.
Performances will be at 8:00 pm on Mondays thru Saturdays with a matinee performance at 2:00 pm on Tuesdays. Tickets are $37.95 for regular seating and $42.95 for VIP seating for ages 17 and older; and $14.95 & $19.95 respectively for ages 3 - 16 years.
