The people in Myrtle Beach have a saying "BASEBALL is even BETTER at the BEACH!" Don't miss any of the fun this season as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans take to the mound on Friday, April 8 at BB&T Coastal Field located at 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach. The first pitch will be thrown out beginning at 7:05 pm
as the Myrtle Beach Pelicans play the Wilmington Blue Rocks. It will also be AUTISM AWARENESS NIGHT and immediately following the game there will be a fireworks display. The Myrtle Beach Pelicans (a Texas Rangers advanced affiliate) will play two more home games - Saturday, April 9 at 7:05 pm and on Sunday, April 10 at 3:05 pm at BB&T Coastal Field. Home games for the rest of April will be played on April 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 & 30.
Weekly promotions when the Pelicans are playing home games are as follows: Kids Eat Free Monday (kids 12 & under receive a coupon for a FREE hot dog, chips & soda with game ticket); Team Tuesday (Pelicans poster series of up-and-coming players); Wiener Wednesday (dollar hot dogs all throughout the game); Thirsty Thursday (dollar drafts available from 6-8pm every Thursday with exciting theme nights); Celebrations Friday & Saturday (featuring different giveaways, entertainment acts & fireworks); and Family Sunday (come out early for pre-game catch on the field or one of the amazing firework shows).
