The month of June is full of events and activities at BROOKGREEN GARDENS and you may be enticed by these various happenings.
June 13-17 & June 20-24
CAMP BROOKGREEN 2011
This will be a one week session of summer fun & educational enrichment. Some of the activities will include storytelling, arts & crafts, native animal interactive programs and a boat ride along freshwater creeks & rivers. Sessions are for rising second and third graders.
June 15 -16
CAMP BROOKGREEN 2011
A 2-day Summer Arts Camp for rising eighth and ninth graders will be held and will feature "Clay Workshop for Kids" with artist Janice Mauro. Please call 843-235-6049 for more information.
June 15 - August 12
5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Each and every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evening will be the time for "COOL SUMMER EVENINGS" at Brookgreen Gardens. You will enjoy a variety of changing music and theatre productions each evening and we promise you will sit back and relax in the cool of the evening.
June 18
6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
BROOKGREEN WINE TASTING
As a kick-off for the summer season, visitors will enjoy samplings of exceptional wines. Talk with expert wine representatives and you will have the opportunity to purchase these bottles of wine at discount prices. The gorgeous Live Oak Allee will be the setting inside the gardens as you also enjoy live music. Reservations ARE REQUIRED and must be made by June 13 as space will be limited. Tickets are available for $65.00 and you may call 843-235-6016.
