I often get asked questions about what can you do while on the beach that is somewhat different than visiting the normal sights. Well, each Thursday thru Saturday in Conway (just a few miles from Myrtle Beach) the RIVERTOWN WALKING TOURS will feature Rivertown History and Haunts, a guided walking tour through downtown Conway. Each evening at 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm there is a 90-minute tour for ages 13 and older. The tour will have stops at the Horry County Courthouse, Conway City Hall, Kingston Presbyterian Church and Cemetery and the Waccamaw Riverfront.
Attendees are asked to wear comfortable shoes and to bring a flashlight, camera and bottled water. You will meet at Third Avenue & Main Street in Conway and the price is $17.00 if purchased online, $20.00 at tour site and students pay $12.00. For more information call 843-333-6941.
