Brookgreen Gardens presents "Cool Summer Evenings" each Wednesday - Friday evenings. On Friday concerts take place near the Pavilion Restaurant on the lawn and begin at 5:00 pm till 9:00 pm. The admission is FREE with your garden admission - $12.00 for ages 13-64, $10.00 for ages 65 & older, $6.00 for ages 4-12 and 3 and under are FREE.
The schedule for the remaining summer performances are: July 1 - Jordan Gravel Jazz Combo, July 8 - Big Bang Boom, July 15 - Elise Testone & Friends (jazz & blues), July 22 - Blue Plantation (bluegrass), July 29 - Grupo Kachimbo (Latin/salsa), August 5 - Tru Sol (motown, hip-hop) and August 12 - Mystic Vibrations (reggae).
Take route U.S. 17 South and it is located across from Huntington Beach State Park. The gardens are open each day starting 9:30 am. 843-235-6000 or 800-849-1931. And remember that your garden admission is good for seven (7) days, so if you don't see all the gardens on your first visit then you can come back the next day.
