If you are like me and many of my friend's here on the beach and enjoy CONSIGNMENT SHOPPING then lend me your ear for a few moments. Last week I had the opportunity to drive over to our neighboring town of Conway for a day of unique and eclectic shopping. As I drove onto Main Street my eyes immediately caught the sign that read "CONSIGNMENT ON MAIN."
As you walk through this intriguing store you will find yourself saying "I'll take that and that and so on. And then your eyes catch a glimpse of absolutely beautiful table lamps and floor lamps. Now, the obvious difference in these lamps are the lamp shades that are custom handmade. These lamp shades are Victorian and Turn of the Century styles and they range from simple to elegant to elaborate. You just have to see these shade designs that just take your mind back to times of the old southern plantations with beautiful light decor. The talent behind these pieces is Helene and she says that she will even recover your old lampshade.
Helene Merhi is the mastermind of this store and she is a delight to talk with.
