The OCEANFRONT MERCHANTS' ASSOCIATION'S HOT SUMMER NIGHTS will come to an end this weekend as students are back in school and vacation time is over for many people. The beautiful Myrtle Beach Boardwalk is the location for the evening events near Plyler Park and are for young and old alike. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday evenings there are concerts from 8:00 pm until midnight. Tuesday, August 30 - Tru Sol performs R&B, funk and soul music; Thursday, September 1 - Eastbound performs country and on Saturday, September 3 you will be entertained by the Scott Pittman Band performing rock, soul and roots music.
Wednesday night, August 31 there will be a fireworks display out over the ocean at 9:30 pm. Friday, September 2 listen to the sounds of a strolling Dixieland Band beginning at 8:00 pm.
I would like to take a moment here to thank the Myrtle Beach OCEANFRONT MERCHANTS' ASSOCIATION for all the wonderful events that they have given to locals and visitors alike to our wonderful beach. You all have definitely made the Myrtle Beach downtown area and boardwalk a "better and inviting place to enjoy."
"Thank you for letting Myrtle Beach entertain you!"
