Every once in a while I have to pass on to my readers the name of a really great book. On September 23, 2011 author, Lisa Patton, will be at Ocean One to talk about her newest novel "YANKEE DOODLE DIXIE." In this sequel to "Whistlin' Dixie in a Nor'easter," Leelee Satterfield returns to Memphis and her friends' peach daiquiris from the cold Vermont inn she finally sold. Nothing is the same with two young daughters in tow and no handsome football hero husband on her arm. In Lisa Patton's new novel she proves that we can go home again, and in many cases we should as stated in Fannie Flagg's review. Definitely Southern and funny!
