The Waccamaw Indian People will hold the 19th Annual Cultural Arts Festival & Pauwau this Saturday and Sunday November 5 & 6. The Waccamaw Tribal Grounds are located atn591 Bluewater Road in Anyor, SC. The gates will open at 10:00 am and admission is - Adults $6.00, Seniors 60 & over $3.00, Students 7 to 14 $3.00. Veterans with Veterans Feather will be admitted FREE and children 6 and under are FREE.
Grand entries will be at 1:00 and 6:00 pm on Saturday and 2:00 pm on Sunday. John Blackfeather will serve as the MC and drums will be provided by the Edisto River Singers. There will be native drum & dance, arts & crafts vendors, demonstrations, food vendors and primitive camp sites. Bring a lounge chair due to limited seating and NO PETS will be allowed.
