BROOKGREEN GARDENS has several events planned for the month of February. Everyday at BROOKGREEN GARDENS includes amazing art, new exhibits, garden tours, animal programs and admission to the Lowcountry Zoo. Now through March 1 explore cemeteries, the "Silent Cities" on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday at 12:00 noon till 2:00 pm and 2:30 pm till 4:30 pm. Walk through former slaves' and plantation owners' graveyards and learn about historical burial customs of European and African origin. Tickets are $15.00 in addition to garden admission for this two-hour excursion and reservations are suggested.
On Saturday, February 11, BROOKGREEN GARDENS will present a one-woman performance about Harriet Tubman by Natalie E. Daise. Natalie was the star of TV's award winning Gullah Gullah Island preschool show of the 1990's. She has endeared audiences with spellbinding storytelling of past BROOKGREEN events. This program is FREE with garden admission and seating is limited and reservations are required.
Saturday, February 12 will have you experiencing 'ROMANTIC DINNER FOR TWO BY YOU." This is a Valentine's educational culinary arts cooking demonstration that will be held at 3:00 pm and sponsored by BROOKGREEN GARDENS. The cost is $34.00 per person and $60.00 per couple and reservations are required.
Each Saturday in February "WARM UP WITH WINTER TEAS" will provide you with a warm escape from the chill of the Winter season with a choice of teas being served at BROOKGREEN GARDENS. Price for this event will be $27.00 which will also include garden admission.
