DIGGIN' IT SPRING GARDEN FESTIVAL will take place this Saturday, March 23 at BROOKGREEN GARDENS. Spring is officially here and for those who can't wait to dig in the dirt and/or have a green thumb will enjoy this event where you will learn from Brookgreen's horticulture staff. As special guest, Helen Yoest, horticulture expert and author who has been named an award winning lifestyle garden writer will be featured speaker. Other speakers will include: Kari Whitely Crolley, Danielle Daumier, Darlene Phypers, Jenks Farmer, Dr. Robert Polomski, Amber Dendy and Anne Malarich the BROOKGREEN GARDENS' photographer who will speak on "The Art of Garden Photography."
There will be informational booths that will be open all day and you can take the opportunity to "BUILD YOUR OWN TERRARIUM." The entrance fee for the park will also cover the cost of the festival.
