Seeing, wearing, drinking green, green and more green will be the call of the day! North Myrtle Beach Will be hosting it's 25th Annual St. Patrick's Day Festival starting at 9:00 am on Saturday, March 16. So put on your best Irish get-up and head on out for a day of fun, food and music. The parade will travel down Main Street and will include: floats, bands, specialty groups, organizations and the magnificent MYRTLE BEACH REGIONAL PIPE & DRUM BAND and the outstanding NEW YORK SHIELDS POLICE PIPES & DRUMS consisting of bagpipes, snare, tenor and bass drums.
Vendors will be set up along Main Street and will be set up through 4:00 pm. There will also be two stages set up with entertainment throughout this fantastic celebration. The Community Stage: 11:00 - New York Police Shields Pipes & Drums; 11:30 - Arts Alive; 12:00 - Wake & District Public Safety Pipes & Drums; 12:15 - Triple Toe Cloggers; 1:00 - Ceol na Gael; 1:30 - Shepherd's Pie Eating Contest; 2:00 - Academy of Dance & Fine Arts 2; and at 2:30 - Will Jackson Band. Horseshoe Stage: 11:00 - Wake & District Public Safety Pipes & Drums; 11:30 - Palmetto State Rollergirls; 12:00 - parade awards; 12:15 - New York Shields Police Pipes & Drums; 12:45 - Myrtle Beach Regional Pipe & Drum Band; 12:45 - treasure hunt kickoff; 2:45 - Atlantic Groove Band and 2:30 - LEPRECHAUN CONTEST.
