PLANTATION TOURS

Picture in your mind - Scarlett, Rhett, moss covered trees, beautiful columned homes - the first thoughts go to those graciously, statuesque plantations of yesteryear. On March 22-23, the ANNUAL PLANTATIONS TOURS will take place for the 66th year in Georgetown. This is a chance to tour some of the magnificent plantations throughout Georgetown County on two different days where each day will feature a different group of homes. The festivities also include music and an oyster roast and pig picking.

The tours will begin at 9:30 and continue till 5:00 pm. The cost of the tours are $40.00 per day ($70.00 for both days). After the tours you will be extended an invitation from the Winyah Indigo Society Hall for tea, home baked goods and an opportunity to see local art and books.

For more information please call 843-545-8921 or go to www.pgwinyah.org/PlantationTours.htm.
Georgetown is located down Highway 17 South approximately 33 miles from Myrtle Beach.
