"TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALLGAME"

Okay baseball fans, tonight is your night to see the TEXAS RANGERS (new parent club of the Myrtle Beach PELICANS) play an exhibition game against COASTAL CAROLINA UNIVERSITY CHANTICLEERS.  BB&T Coastal Field will be the location for the game with the gates opening at 4:00 pm for batting practice with the first pitch being thrown out at 6:35 pm.

Tickets may still be available for standing room only and the cost is $12.00.  Basically the game is "SOLD OUT" but you can call 918-6000 or 877-918-8499.  The stadium is located at 21st Avenue North between U.S. 17 Bypass and Robert Grissom Parkway.

The PELICANS' season opener will take place on April 8 beginning at 7:05 pm.  The Wilmington (Delaware) Blue Rocks (an affiliate of the Kansas City Royals) will be the opposing team going up against the Pelicans.  "BUY ME SOME POPCORN & CRACKERJACKS!"
