SAINT PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATIONS

NORTH MYRTLE BEACH
March 17 will mark the celebrations of Saint Patrick's Day for all IRISH and Non-IRISH people everywhere.  Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach will provide many venues for celebrating this "GREEN" day known as SAINT PATRICK'S DAY.

North Myrtle Beach will host their 24th annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade on Saturday beginning at 9:00 am.  For those of you who have never watched this event you will be greatly amazed and amused by all the floats, bands, clowns, cars, television personalities and much, much more.

Immediately following the parade you will definitely want to take part in the Irish Festival with over 100 vendors that include entertainment, crafts, arts, food and fun for age genres. All events end at 4:00 pm.

MARKET COMMON @ VALOR PARK
The IRISH FEST begins at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 17 for the celebrating of Saint Patrick's Day.  There will be traditional Irish Beers, vendors, Irish food, live music by Painted Man, oyster roasts, inflatables and games for the kids.  Admission is FREE and parking is FREE.

MYRTLE BEACH
The 3rd Annual Myrtle Beach Saint Patrick's Day Celebration will begin at noon on March 17, 2012.  This event will include live music, Irish food, Irish drinks, games, contests, kids activities and the admission is FREE.

Highlighting the event will be the live performance from RUSTED ROOT, the world beat/jam-influenced rock act.  There will be two outdoor stages and other entertainment acts include: Mother's Finest, Trevor Hall, The Delta Saints, The Dirty Guvnahs, Joal Rush, Band on the Rum, Three Legged Fox and Bullfrog.

CONWAY
Not to be outdone, the city of Conway will kick off their Saint Patrick's Day Gathering of the Green celebration with fun and food for everyone at the Farmer's Market.  If you like to dress up in costume then you do not want to miss taking part in the Saint Patrick's Day costume contest.  Lots of green beer, food samples from Conway restaurants and a silent auction.  The Silent Auction will have numerous items to bid on and they include: a private tour of the Waccamaw River, live floral arrangements, art and baked goods.

You won't believe your eyes as you watch Ann Winnard as she performs her fire breathing act.  All proceeds from the day's events goes to support Conway Downtown Alive.
